What is the withdrawal period column for?

Most medications given to laying hens mean the eggs must not be eaten for a number of days afterwards. The sheet works out the date they are safe again and tells you which birds are inside a withdrawal right now — the one fact a health log without it leaves out.

What happens to a bird I no longer have?

Her history stays in the log and her costs stay in the flock total, because they were really spent. She is simply not counted as an active bird.
